Steam Turbine & Generator Class

This class will provide attendees with in-depth operational knowledge of steam turbines and generators. An emphasis will be placed on successful unit start up and shut down practices, supervisory equipment, and generator fundamentals. Supporting auxiliary equipment will also be explained as part of this course. Upon completion of this course, operators will better understand the “why” behind turbine and generator operating practices and recognize the impact of operator actions on equipment life and performance.

Steam Turbine & Generator Class is an instructor-led StratEnergy training course in the Power Generation & Plant Performance track. No session is currently published; contact StratEnergy for future dates or in-house delivery. It is intended for Power Plant Operators responsible for Steam Turbines, Generators and Auxiliaries. Teams can also request in-house delivery.
